Our lean management – your advantage

Optimum performance at competitive prices – these are constantly changing parameters. That is why we are constantly working to become even better. Because we want to be the attractive partner for our customers tomorrow that we already are. And we have come a long way on this path: We can often develop the production process better than others and frequently set real benchmarks for the production of precision parts.

More effectiveness in production, more efficiency in management, maximum utilization of our machines in intelligent coordination – this is how we create a win-win situation for us and for our customers.

Get to know the methods we use to make our production and processes as efficient as possible:

Lean Production, Lean Management, Lean Maintenance

Lean production

We work every day to optimize our production and make our entire value chain even more efficient. Avoiding waste - of both resources and labor - is a premise that allows us to constantly review our working methods. We consistently implement the potential for improvement that we identify. This continuous improvement not only benefits our processes, but also the resulting products.

5S method

Sort out, put things away neatly, clean, standardize, practice self-discipline and continuous improvement. With these principles and systematically organized workplaces, we increase our quality. We concentrate on the essentials. We adhere to standards and ensure cleanliness and order. And we have the discipline to adhere to the resulting specifications at all times.

Setup time optimization

We continuously shorten our set-up times by analyzing work processes in detail. Among other things, this enables us to increase the degree of utilization and capacity utilization of our systems. This not only reduces unit costs, but also flows into future process design: Thanks to our learning system, we continuously create the best conditions for future projects.

Lean logistics

We constantly review our logistics processes to consistently optimize the flow of materials. Material that is required on an ongoing basis is therefore always directly available, while order-specific material is provided "just in time". This enables us to consistently reduce our space requirements and our inventory costs to what is really necessary.

Lean Leadership

Our management level is also geared towards the efficient design of value creation processes and the inclusion of suggestions for improvement. This helps us to avoid mistakes, reduce costs and align our corporate culture with these principles in the long term.

Visual Management

We maintain important data, facts and information and visualize them in a compact and easy-to-understand form. We present them in good time and in a central location. This means that all employees are always well informed about workflows, processes and joint successes. In this way, we also strengthen identification with what we do for our customers every day.

Value stream mapping & design

We map the flow of materials and information along the entire value chain from the supplier to the end customer. Processes that do not create value are identified and eliminated.

Lean maintenance

The uninterrupted operation of our systems and the optimal utilization of our capacities are crucial for the efficiency of our production processes. We therefore pay particular attention to the operational readiness of our indispensable systems and machines to ensure that they function smoothly at all times to maintain overall operations.

Fault management

We have developed a customized maintenance concept and plan maintenance and cleaning activities precisely in advance. We record downtimes and lost time systematically and analytically. This enables us to continually reduce downtime due to malfunctions.

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

We examine the availability, performance and production quality of our machines according to the principle of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. This enables us to identify unused capacity in our systems and increase their added value in a targeted manner. This reduces unit costs overall.

CIP (Continuous Improvement Process)

We work to continuously improve our performance in terms of product, process and service quality. Standardization, a high degree of transparency and the personal responsibility of our employees are suitable means of achieving this.
